Right to Self Defense
Janice Kovach believes Israel, like all nations, has a right to self-defense.

Anti-terrorism
Janice Kovach believes strong ties between Israel and the United States make each
country stronger. Israel's strategic location and the sharing of intelligence information
between the two countries provide deterrence to radical forces opposed to each
country.

Iran
Janice believes Iran is a state-sponsor of terror throughout the world by arming and
supporting radicals who have carried out attacks against the United States' and Israel's
military and civilians.

Janice supports U.S. policy to prevent Iran from achieving nuclear weapons capabilities.
Janice believes the Administration and Congress must consult on any agreement
regarding sanctions against Iran and that any negotiations with Iran must be backed
with possible additional sanctions.

Economic Partnership
Joint research programs and a Free Trade Agreement between the United States and
Israel have increased commerce between the two and created jobs and innovations.
Janice will support this continued partnership as a member of Congress.

Foreign Aid
Janice Kovach believes the United States must keep its commitment to foreign aid for
Israel to meet threats and challenges in the region from radicals to protect against
terrorists and to foster democracy and pluralism in the Middle East.
